Little Eddie Du Bois Wins a Roll Fast Bicycle - 1949

The Miami Herald, August 3, 1949, local section front page photo and article.

"Little Eddie Du Bois, bare chested, barefoot with tears in his eyes receives a Roll Fast bicycle from a representative of Borden's Dairy in front of his home at 813 NE 72 St, Miami, Florida.  Borden's provided the prize as sponsor of the Boulevard Theater's Saturday children's matinee.  Eddie attended the show with his mother and 6 friends on his birthday and his ticket was chosen as the winner in a random drawing."

Trivia for Fans: The "Boulevard Theater," once a wholesome movie theater where local Miamians would take their families to see the latest movies, is on 79th & Biscayne Boulevard and is now a X rated theater located just 3 blocks south of the Pain and Gain movie set for the Sun Gym.
